Are you passionate about inspiring awe and wonder about science via live events and cultural engagement?  This is an exciting opportunity to opportunity to lead the Ri’s prestigious talks programme to engage a wide range of diverse audiences?

If so, you could be our new Science Talks Producer!

The Royal Institution (Ri) runs a year-round programme of inspirational public science talks from our famous Theatre. We enable world-class scientists and researchers to deliver spectacular and engaging talks to a wide range of diverse audiences with support from our infamous Demonstrations team and using the stories and objects from our heritage and archives.

We are looking for a Science Talks Producer, to develop, curate, host and manage innovative STEM events which are fascinating, entertaining, scientific and inclusive and will grow our audiences.  You will collaborate with speakers, hosts, sponsors and stakeholders as well as with teams across the Ri to ensure the programme has a distinctive Ri quality, is relevant and cutting edge, and effectively publicised and evaluated.  

Location: Albemarle St, London with opportunity for some remote working
Contract type: Permanent, Part-time/Full-time, 28 to 35 hours per week including evening and weekend work
Salary: c. £38k per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

Closing Date: 10am on Tuesday 14 May 2024.
