Our EventsThe BIG Event
The BIG Event is our biggest event of the year. This 2.5 day conference held in July is based at a different UK venue every year. To book this year's event or to find out more, visit our Events Calendar here
The programme sessions cover a wide range of issues and topics in informal science education, and are usually presented in a hands-on and interactive way. There is also plenty of opportunity for networking with other science communicators.
"The BIG Event is not a conference, it is far more than that. The event offers a friendly, relaxed environment where people come together to support each other and share knowledge. A brilliant experience which left me with a head full of new ideas and a renewed passion for what I do." - Rebecca Cottrell, Engineering Education Consultant and Research Student
"Who knew a conference could be so much fun?!" - Luiza Patorski, Science Oxford
