Programme Co-ordinator – STEM Ambassadors in Scotland

Fixed term contract (12 months from end of July)
35 hours per week
The postholder will be based in our SSERC headquarters in Dunfermline. There may be an opportunity for the successful applicant to opt in the organisation’s hybrid working pilot scheme. This will be subject to discussion with the successful candidate and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
About the role
The postholder will have responsibility for supporting STEM Ambassadors in their role as a volunteer through social media, email communication, newsletters and information sessions. The postholder will support other members of the STEM Ambassadors in Scotland team with teacher, youth group leader and employer engagement, PVG application and project and event delivery.
The role is a great opportunity to join a creative and fast-paced team within a collaborative organisation.
Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

About STEM Ambassadors in Scotland
STEM Ambassadors in Scotland is based at SSERC and coordinates the STEM Ambassador Programme across Scotland on behalf of STEM Learning. STEM Ambassadors are volunteers working in or studying STEM subjects who work with young people to bring STEM subjects alive through real-life experiences.
We support over 6,000 Ambassadors in Scotland to deliver engaging STEM experiences for schools, community and youth groups.
